Joseph L. Dickerson

            Joseph L. Dickerson, 90 of North Little Rock passed away Thursday, September 7, 2023.  He was born July 29, 1933 in North Little Rock, Arkansas to Dawson and Rosie Dickerson.

            He was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor M. Dickerson; parents; seven sisters and six brothers. Leaving to mourn him are a host of nieces and nephews.

            Joseph met and married Eleanor in 1962. The love they shared spanned for more than 50 years. He loved life and was busy living it, traveling the country extensively. He was a Korean War veteran in 1951 and worked as a Superintendent for the Kansas City Convention Center for 33 ½ years.

            Joseph now welcomes a new life with Christ forever. His race is now complete.

            Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m., Friday, September 15, 2023 at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial with military honors will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
