Joseph Arrigo, 90, of Maumelle passed away Friday, July 17, 2015. He was born June 27, 1925 in Carbondale, Pennsylvania to the late Dominic and Caroline Arrigo. He was a World War II Navy veteran and worked at Carrier Corporation for 40 years. Joseph was an avid golfer, who loved his wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and was a wonderful dad and husband.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Jeanne Thatcher Arrigo; children, Darlene Arrigo, Bonnie Galvin (Jeff), Richard Arrigo (Teresa) and Jon Arrigo (Robin); nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and four siblings, Frances Henshaw (John), Alexander Arrigo, Mary McCarthy and Angela Todd. He was preceded in death by his parents and his infant brother.
Memorials may be made to Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 7006 Jasna Gora Road, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72118.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, followed by a rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Burial will be in Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery.
