Jon Dexter Hill, 43, of Bismarck, Arkansas, passed away Friday, February 17, 2023.
He was born December 5, 1979, in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, to G. Dexter Hill and Nadine Loy-Hill.
Jon graduated from Bismarck High School in 1998, where he was a member of The Showband of Hot Spring County and The Future Farmers of America. Jon was a devoted Christian who loved his kids. He was a member of Caney Missionary Baptist Church, and he worked for Ligon Oil Company for the past twelve years.
He is preceded in death by his mother.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Briana Dalton-Hill of Mt. Ida, Arkansas, Rebeka Russell and Maddie Hill both of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas; his sons, Jonathan Hill and Tyler Hill, both of Bismarck and Tanner Hill of Hot Springs Village; his father, Dexter Hill of Malvern, Arkansas and his brother, Tom (Colette) Hill of New Deroche, Arkansas, and his nieces and nephew, Gracie Matthews, Samuel Hill and Ruby Hill.
Jon’s visitation will take place Friday, February 24, 2023, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Ruggles Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.
Jon’s funeral service will be held Saturday, February 25, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Ruggles Wilcox Funeral Home with Brother Ralph Ruffin officiating.
Burial will follow at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Bismarck.
Pallbearers include Burt McAlpine, Donnie Miller, Jared Billings, Patrick Hayley, Joseph Godwin, Chance Burchfield, Tracey Lowe and Tom Hill.
Honorary pallbearers will be Terrell Davis, Michael Copeland, David Mitchell, Chad King, Jeremy Allen and David Jackson.
Arrangements are entrusted to Ruggles Wilcox Funeral Home, 517 Clay Street, Arkadelphia, Arkansas 71923.
