Jon Coney

Jon Paul "JP", also known as "Pope" Coney, 33, of North Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away unexpectedly on August 30, 2016. He was born to Steve and Lois Coney on March 17, 1983 in Little Rock. Jon Paul was a graduate of St. Joseph High School in 2001. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend to all. He had a passion for the Arkansas Razorbacks and St. Louis Cardinals. He enjoyed playing pool and swimming with his four nieces and one nephew. These times brought him the most joy.

He will be greatly missed by his father and mother, Steve and Lois of North Little Rock; sister Shannon Foster and Travis of Conway, nephew Noah, niece Ally; and sister Amanda Fowlkes, nieces Alexis, Anna Klaire and Ava all of North Little Rock; aunts, uncles, cousins, and many family friends. Preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl and Jerry Zajac of North Little Rock; Homer and Juanita Coney of Conway and his special aunt, Beverly Zajac of North Little Rock. We will always remember him with a big smile on his face telling his family how much he loved us. We will hold these precious memories in our hearts and love him always.

Friends may call on the family on Saturday, September 3, 2016, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church from 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m., followed by the Rosary at 10:15 a.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will follow the Rosary at 11:00 a.m. with burial in Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery.
