Robert Doyle "Dusty" Johnson of N.L.R., AR, found eternal peace on October 17, 2009. Dusty was born in Little Rock , Arkansas on November 1, 1944 to the late Willard Grayson Johnson and Rillie Belle Johnson Moulton. He is preceded in death by both parents his Step Father, Forrest R. Moulton and one son, Robert Reginald Johnson. He is survived by two daughters, one Aunt; Barbara Jean Pruitt, of Mayflower, Arkansas and cousins; Mark Pruitt and Katelyn Pruitt. Dusty was a life-time member of V.F.W. Post 10442, DAV, 25th Infantry Division Association and an honorary member of the Arkansas Sheriffs Association Youth Ranch. Dusty Johnson was a professional member of The Academy of Country Music and the Country Music Association, as a composer and publisher as well as the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers. As a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army, he served his country in three tours of duty; two in Vietnam and one tour in East Germany . Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at Huson Funeral Home in Sherwood , Arkansas . Funeral services for Mr. Johnson will be held at 2:00 P.M.
