Johnny Rogers

Johnny L. Rogers, 74, of Beebe, Arkansas, died September 18, 2015. He was a member of Mt. Arratt Baptist Church. Johnny retired from Ford Motors after working there for thirty-five years.
He is survived by his wife, Lillie Rogers; daughter, Sherrell Newbern of Atlanta, Georgia; his mother, Katie R. Strong of Beebe; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Katie Mae Rogers and Ollie B. Sloan, both of Las Vegas.
Johnny was preceded in death by his father, Charlie Rogers, and one son, Chris Rogers.
Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 23, 2015, at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral and burial will be in Chicago, Illinois.
