Johnny O'Barr
Johnny O'Barr, 60, of North Little Rock, passed away Monday, December 6, 2010. He served in the United States Marine Corps 1969 to 1971.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Linda O'Barr; two sons, Claude "Tiger" O'Barr of North Little Rock and John W. O'Barr of Little Rock; daughter, Cindy O'Barr of North Little Rock; one grandson, his pride and joy, Austin O'Barr of Mt. Ida; four sisters, Claudia (Walter) Hillman of North Little Rock, Joyce (Leon) Wilson of Ward, Linda Kay Shadell and Nancy O'Barr both of North Little Rock and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents Claude and Dorothy O'Barr; sister, Daria Hunter; and nephew, Jimmy Peeks.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Graves Memorial Baptist Church. Burial will be in Cato Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main, 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
