Johnny Morris

Johnny Mark Morris, 60, of Little Rock, passed away July 19, 2011. He was born in Pine Bluff to Chester and Imogene Frazer Morris and was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. Johnny was an avid fan of all sports and coached hundreds of boys and girls for 45 years. He touched hundreds of people, giving lifelong lessons through coaching.
Preceded in death by his parents and his in-laws, Dick and Mimi Bledsoe, he is survived by his loving wife, Ann Bledsoe Morris; sons, John Morris and wife, Amanda of Little Rock and Kevin Morris and wife, Samantha of Lincoln, Nebraska; daughter, Laura Morris of Little Rock; sisters, Shirley Traylor, Mary Johnson and Carolyn Hopper; brothers, Lamar Morris and Douglas Morris; and a host of other family and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Msgr. Francis I. Malone on Friday, July 22 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church, followed by interment at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander. Visitation will be Thursday evening, July 21 beginning at 6 p.m. at the church, followed by the Rosary at 7:00.
Memorials may be made to the Msgr. Hebert Endowment Fund, 4000 N. Rodney Parham, Little Rock, AR 72212.
