Johnny Lee Mathis, 65, of Scott passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2013. He served in the United States Army and worked in the flooring industry for many years. He loved watching the Razorbacks and playing pool.
He is survived by his wife, Reneye Mathis, of Scott; daughter, Heather Russell and husband Jarrod, of Sherwood; three grandchildren, Ashlyn Felgate, McKenzie Felgate and Riley Russell; brother, James Ronald "Ronnie" Mathis and wife, Pat, of Jacksonville; former wife, Dianne Lovett and her husband, Rick, of Sherwood; and a host of extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Arnold Delay; stepfather, Jack Delay; brother, Gerald Wayne Mathis and sister, Linda Mathis Greer.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday at North Little Rock Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
