Johnny Ray Koon was born September 24, 1968 in Little Rock, Arkansas and passed away June 27, 2007 at the age of 38.
Johnny was a roofer by profession. He loved his coffee, to read and solve math problems and was often found at Books-A-Million or the library.
He is survived by his father, Stoney Koon, of Little Rock; mother, Vicki Koon Stimson, of North Little Rock; one son whom he loved deeply, Justin Ray Whitney of Texas; one brother, Stoney H. Koon, Jr., of North Little Rock; grandparents, Horace and Francis Koon, of Little Rock; grandmother, Margie Stimson, of Texas and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Tom Stimson.
Services were held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, July 2, 2007 in Chapel Hill Cemtery.
