Johnnie T. Wade, age 93 of Little Rock, passed away March 20, 2015 in Little Rock; he was born September 16, 1921 in McAlmont, Arkansas; he was the son of Samuel Wade & Lillie Bunton- Wade.
Mr. Wade was retired from the University of Chicago and a United States Army Veteran of WWII who served a tour in Italy.
He is preceded in death by his wife Irene Sweeny-Wade, a sister Thelma Perry and his parents.
Survivors include his two brothers Famous Wade and his wife Medric, and Herman Wade and his wife Irma, along with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Huson Funeral Home at 6400 Mabelvale Pike (one block west of 65th Street & University Ave.) in Little Rock. Burial will be Evergreen Memorial Park in Chicago, Illinois.
