Johnnie Mae Huckabee went home to be with the Lord on December 22, 2024. She was born in 1928 to John Wayne and Anna Mae Sandage in Tichnor, Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 38 years, Beck Tyer, her sisters, Ina (Eugene) Spencer, of Mountain Home, AR, and Dorothy (John) Sturdy, of Sherwood, AR, and her son, David Tyer, and daughter-in-law, Rexalyn Tyer.

Johnnie is survived by her children: Lee Ann Thompson (Brian) of Wetheral, UK, John Gregory Tyer of Clinton, AR, Paul Sandage Tyer (Karla) of Marble Falls, AR, and daughter-in-law, Donna Tyer of Cape Coral, FL.

Grandchildren: Jeremy Tyer of Cape Coral, FL; Tara Thompson (Diogenes) of Redondo Beach, CA; Spencer Thompson of Edinburg, Scotland; Lindsay (Tom) Lawson of Armathwaite, UK; John William Tyer, of Lincoln, AR; and Kara Tyer, of Clinton, AR; Harper Bettis of Las Vegas, NV; Lydia Helton (Taylor) of Auburntown, TN; Daniel Bettis (Tori) of St. Louis, MO.

Great-grandchildren: Aidan Molina and Sophia Lawson.

Johnnie is survived by her husband of 30 years, Charles Huckabee. Johnnie’s stepchildren are Marsha Helms (David) of Greenbrier, AR; Terri Sanders of Little Rock, AR ; Susan Billingsley (Mark) of Little Rock, AR and Rick Huckabee of Hope, AR.; Maria Derrick of Moffat, CO; Jena Derrick of San Francisco, CA.

Step-grandchildren are…Megan Orton(Christian), Angela Robinson (Troy),Brooke Billingsley (David), Ashley Ball (Christian), Jordan Billingsley.

Step-great-grandchildren are Corbin Robinson, Bennet Robinson, Charlie Ball, and Baxley Ball. 

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Fellowship Bible Church of Little Rock, AR or to Fellowship Bible Church of Harrison, AR where her son Paul Tyer is pastor.
