Johnie Stracener

Johnie Stracener, age 90 and 1/2, of Ward, went to be with the Lord Thursday July 29, 2015. He was a WWII Army Air Corp Veteran. Johnie worshipped Jesus at the Lighthouse Pentecostal Church in Beebe for twenty one years and was prayer leader for over fifty years at First Pentecostal Church in North Little Rock. He was a dedicated alter worker, who prayed for everyone in need.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma; parents, Hezikiah and Fen Stracener and son, Gary.

Johnie is survived by two sons; Ron (Lois) and Tracy and wife, Christine; three daughters, Carla Gaylor, Vanessa Stracener Cummings and Kim Stracener Perez; seventeen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 31, 2015 at the Lighthouse Pentecostal Church in Beebe. Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 1 at the Lighthouse Pentecostal Church with burial in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, Beebe. The services will be officiated by Sister Marylyn Tetrick, Doctor John Scheel, Pastor Jason Scheel and Pastor Joel Holmes.
