John "Bud" Mathews

John “Bud” W. Mathews, 81, of El Paso, Arkansas went to be with the Lord June 28, 2019.  He was a retired carpenter and loved to work with wood.  He was a member of the Beebe First Church of The Nazarene.

He is survived by five daughters, Lisa (Alvino) Valdez of San Saba, Texas, Donna (Craig) Sturdevant of Wellsville, New York, Traci (Mike) Kirk of Beebe, Paula Allen of El Paso and Stefanie (Joe) Henry of Beebe; one daughter-in-law Pam Mathews of Beebe; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and one brother, Danny Mathews of Illinois.

John was preceded in death by his wife Doris Mathews, one son, John E. Mathews, and son-in-law Kevin Allen.
