John Wright
John L. Wright, 71, of Little Rock, passed away December 29, 2019. He was born in Bastrop, Louisiana and raised in Little Rock by his parents, Lincoln and Salome Duckworth Moore, and served as a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and member of St. John's Baptist Church.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children, Sharnae Wright-Terry (Tony) of McAlmont, Robert Blake, Janell Wright, both of Little Rock, and Latoya Wright of Mabelvale; brother, Demetrius Moore (Dorte) of Charlotte, North Carolina; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his fathers, Woodrow Foreman and Lincoln Moore, and brother, Woodrow Foreman, Jr.
Services will be Friday, January 10 at 11:00 a.m., preceded by visitation beginning at 10:00, at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), followed by interment with Military Honors at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
