John Waddle

John Dee Waddle, 92, of McRae, Arkansas, went to rest on Saturday, April 4, 2015. He was born Saturday, September 2, 1922 to the late George Robert and Bessie Jane (Baldy) Waddle in Double Springs, Alabama. Dee was a hard working husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend, and will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Fayrene (Jackson) Waddle; six brothers, James Waddle, Joe Waddle, William Waddle, Roy Waddle, Thomas Waddle and Wiley Waddle; and three sisters, Annie Landerth, Lucille Scott and Nannie Jackson.
He is survived by one daughter, Reta Robinson. He also leaves behind one sister, Trannie Hughes and husband Carthel; a brother-in-law, Elroy Scott; along with many nieces and nephews.
Dee enjoyed the great outdoors, hunting, fishing and gardening, after retiring from John Deere in 1973. He was a member of Garner United Methodist Church.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Smith - Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 9, 2015, at Smith - Westbrook Funeral Home. The burial will be private. Arrangements by Smith - Westbrook Funeral Home.
