John Thomas Duggan, age 52, of Glenwood, died Wednesday, January 22, 2014. He was born on March 9, 1961, at Murfreesboro, the son of Alfred Gilbert Duggan and Verdie Vernice Spears Duggan. He was preceded in death by his father and his brother, Gilbert Ray Duggan. He was Christian in his faith and enjoyed hunting and fishing. His greatest love was spending time with his family, was always the family jokester and he will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his mother, Vernice Johnson of Glenwood; one brother and sister-in-law, Ricky and Tammy Duggan of Daisy; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Janice and Kenneth Cogburn of Glenwood, Arlene and James Golden of Langley and Andrea and Larry Hamilton of Glenwood; several nieces, nephews and friends. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, February 3, 2014, in the Lodi Cemetery with Bro. George "Boots" Donaldson officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM, prior to the services at the cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Anglin, Chucky Christ, Daniel Rogers, Chris Evans, Justin Duggan and Trinity Cogburn. Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Cogburn, Charles Cogburn, Trent Freeman, Brad Cogburn and Scotty Freeman. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
