John H. Snow, born on September 6, 1938, in Norman, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on September 1,2024, in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. He leaves behind a rich legacy of family, and dedication that will be cherished by all who knew him.

A proud veteran, John served in the Navy for six years, contributing to the nation with honor and integrity. His experiences shaped him into the man remembered by many today. John had a long and fulfilling career, dedicating 32 years of service to Safeway, and retiring as the Chief Engineer. His hobbies included hunting and fishing, activities he shared with family and friends, creating lasting memories in the great outdoors. He was Baptist in faith and was a Master Mason and Shriner.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Ann Sanderson-Snow; his sons, Steve (Brenda) Snow, Joe (Angela) Snow; his sisters, Shirley Ross and Patsy (Larry) Burgess; and his daughter-in-law, Donna Snow; He was also blessed with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild along with many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, F.C. Snow; mother; Esther Meyer-Snow; his brother, Leo Snow; and his son, James Snow.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Don Crow, Dennis Urban, David Viereck, and David McLawhorn in memory. 

A graveside service to honor John H. Snow will take place on September 6, 2024, at 10:00 AM at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, located at 1501 W Maryland Ave, North Little Rock, AR 72120.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Shriners Children’s Hospital.
