John David Rounsaville

John David Rounsaville, age 55, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2025. A man of singular focus, David lived a life marked by his deep sense of selflessness. He was a proud veteran, having served in the United States Navy on the USS Forrestal, and later worked and owned Arkansas Fuel Injection, where he dedicated his career.

While David was a figure often defined by his humor and attitude to put others above himself, he leaves behind a legacy intertwined with the lives of his children and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by William “Pete” and Ruth Garrison Rounsaville of Brewer Bottoms. He is survived by his loving wife, Carol Ann Rounsaville, and children, Abbygail (Kyle) Cooksey of Addison, Texas, Joe David (Brianna) Rounsaville of Alexander, Arkansas, and Brandy (Brandon) Harris of Austin, Arkansas. David also leaves behind his three grandchildren, Jacob (Audrey) Juarez, Mattison Juarez Harris, and Sullivan David Rounsaville and a brother, Jerry Rounsaville of DeWitt, Arkansas.

Some of David’s passions were being an outdoorsman, hunting, NASCAR, tractors big and small, vacationing with his wife and watching his grandchildren grow. Though David’s life was taken too soon, his family and those close to him remember him for the moments of candor and unpredictability that made him uniquely himself. To his loved ones, he was always a part of their story, and his presence will be missed in ways both big and small.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Arkansas Hospice for their compassionate care and support during David’s final days.
