John Roark
John Clyde Roark, 81, of Lonoke passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2016. John was born July 8, 1935 in Perryton, Texas to John and Oleta Camp Roark.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Jerry Chane'l Grady Roark and their four sons and their wives, Rodney (Carolyn), Kelly (Lisa), Tracy (Cheryl) and Jeremy (Christy); twenty two grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild along with his brother, Mike Roark (Barbara).
He was preceded in death by his parents and three sons, John Richard, Jamey Clyde and Chancey Wade; three grandchildren, Shannon Jill, Taylor Kyle and Rodney Blake..
John moved his family to North Little Rock in 1965 from Texas and settled in Lonoke in 1974, He supported his family by supervising and laying brick in and around Central Arkansas for the past 50 years,
He was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and would have wanted to extend an invitation to all for his Memorial which will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 230 Smokey Lane, North Little Rock, August 6 at 2:00 p.m.
