John Rist Jr

John Clark Rist, Jr., age 47 of Little Rock, passed away March 30, 2016 in Little Rock. He was born September 7, 1968 in Slidell, Louisiana.

John was a United States Marine, who proudly served his country. He was also a former youth minister and Associate Pastor, and enjoyed working in the Armored Car Industry for fifteen years. He was a fan of NFL Football, and he enjoyed target shooting, hunting, and spending time with his family and his companion dog Gracie. John will be remembered for having a heart of compassion for all people, and living a life of integrity.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John Clark Rist Sr. and Marie Rist.

Survivors include his wife of twenty-eight years, Gia Rist and daughter, Caela Rist, both of Little Rock; mother and father- in- law, Wanda and Jim Cocurullo, and a brother- in-law, Jay Cocurullo, all of Slidell, Louisiana, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at Huson Funeral Home Chapel at 7700 Highway 107, Sherwood, Arkansas, followed by a burial with military honors at Arkansas State Veterans' Cemetery in North Little Rock.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, April 4, 2016 at Huson Funeral Home in Sherwood.
