John Reed

John Hugh Reed, 76, of Bauxite, Arkansas went to be with his Lord March 26, 2018. He was born February 5, 1942 in Monticello, Arkansas to the late William and Mary (Bartlett) Reed.
John retired in maintenance at Reynolds. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the Shaw Hunting Club.
John was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: his twin brother, Lewis Neal Reed and Donald Jerry Reed; and sister, Patsy Joe Baker.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of over fifty-five years, Bobbie Reed of Bauxite, Arkansas; two sons: Danny Reed and wife Teresa of Benton, Arkansas and Johnny Reed and wife Susan of Benton, Arkansas; three grandchildren: Shane Reed and wife Alyssa of Benton, Arkansas, Justin Reed of Benton, Arkansas, and Kayla Croy and husband Derreck of Pea Ridge, Arkansas; great-granddaughter, Dani Shane Pike; brother, Ronald Terry Reed of Bauxite, Arkansas; three sisters: Toby Burnett and husband Ken of Mabelvale, Arkansas, Peggy Weeks of Little Rock, and Okla Wood of Little Rock; one little black dog, Rascal; and a host of family and friends who love John and will miss him always.
Reception visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM, Friday, March 30 at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market St., Benton, Arkansas. Funeral service, officiated by Bro. Zack Stringer, will follow at 11:00 AM.
