John Ratton

John Ratton, age 58, of Amity, passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2019. He was born on September 4, 1960 in Washington, Illinois, the son of James Ratton and Betty Johnson Ratton. On September 13, 1980, he was married to Robin McGinnis Ratton who preceded him in death on October 22, 2018. He was also preceded in death by his father; and his sister, Joyce Noret. John was a United States Air Force veteran and loved playing with his grandbabies. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Emmery Chrisco of Amity; two sons, John Wayne Ratton of Searcy and Michael Shaun Ratton of Indiana; five grandchildren; his mother, Betty Ratton of Illinois; two brothers, Jim Ratton and Jerry Ratton, both of Illinois; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, February 1, 2019, in Jones Cemetery at Amity. Visitation will be Thursday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home.
