John Peterson

John C. “Johnny” Peterson, Jr., 77, of North Little Rock, Ar., passed away peacefully at home on April 9, 2022.  He was preceded in death by his parents, John C. Peterson and Melba Matthews Peterson. 

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mickey; son, Steve; brother, Jim Peterson (Linda), Brother-in-law, David Brown (Brenda) of Pine Bluff and nieces and nephews.

Johnny graduated from Central High School in 1962 and served in the National Guard.  He retired from Union Pacific Railroad with 37 years service.  He served as President of BLET Division 182.

He worked as an investigator for 12 years for several law firms.

Johnny loved his family and friends.  He loved cars, motorcycles, side by sides , camping and working on our farm and in his shop.  He could fix almost anything.

Johnny didn’t want a traditional memorial or funeral service. He wanted a private celebration with family and close friends remembering the good times.
