John White

John P. White, of Beebe, Arkansas, passed away January 11, 2009, at his home. He was born in Ranger, Texas, where he lived until he left for the Air Force in 1951. He was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He received an Associates degree in Agricultural Science from Arkansas State University in 1977. John was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of E. H. English Lodge, Wattensaw.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Palmer White of Cleburne, Texas and a brother James White, also of Texas.
John is survived by his wife of fifty-three years, Geraldine L. White; his five children, Renee, John, Robert, Jeffrey and Jim; four grandchildren; and by his sisters Helen Henderson and Mary Moses of Cleburne, Texas.
A Rosary will be said at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral Mass will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 14, 2009, at St. James Catholic Church in Searcy, with burial in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, Beebe.
