John Morgan

John Alec Morgan, 77, of North Little Rock passed away August 8, 2019.  He was born January 19, 1942 in Brickeys, AR to the late Charles R. Morgan and Christine Morgan Golden.

He served in the Peace Corp, graduated from North Little Rock High in 1959, received his Bachelor of Arts degree from UCA and received his Juris Doctorate degree from Bowen School of Law at the age of 51. John retired from Park University, Little Rock Air Force Base as a professor of Criminal Justice, where he taught till the age of seventy-six.

Survivors include his daughter, Bliss Deeter (Dennis); two grandchildren, Allison Abromitis (Eric) of Mississippi and Alex Morgan Jones, of North Little Rock; and a sister, Carla Montgomery. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Charles Morgan, Jr.

John’s family wishes to thank Barnes Healthcare in Lonoke and Baptist Hospice for their excellent care.

In honor of John’s wishes, there will be no memorial service.
