John Shelton

John Lynn Shelton, 53, of Little Rock, born February 3, 1955, died Thursday, October 23, 2008. He graduated from Parkview High School and attended Arkansas Tech. John was a real estate investor. His life revolved around his family, friends and dog, Jake. He was an avid outdoorsman and hunter, who loved and owned many guns. He was a great son, brother and friend who was loved and will be missed greatly.
Preceded in death by his mother, Alice Louise Shelton, John is survived by his father, Virgil W. Shelton (Betty Jo) of Little Rock; sister, Beverly Jean Thompson (Bob) of Searcy; nephew, Randall Wright of Japan; and step-sister, Judy D. Guyon and step-brother, Mike Guyon, both of Houston,Texas.
Visitation will be held from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, October 26 at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), Little Rock. Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday, October 27 at Pleasant Valley Church of Christ, officiated by Mr. Chuck Monan. Entombment will follow in Rest Hills Mausoleum in Sherwood. Pallbearers will be Ed Morgan, Charlie Adcock, Kenny Kirby, Billy Lewis, Don Berry and Jackie Brown. In lieu of flowers, John would like you to make donations to the Humane Society of Pulaski County, 14600 Colonel Glenn Rd., Little Rock, AR 72210.
