John Knoedl

John Paul Knoedl, 59, of Little Rock passed away on March 19, 2014. He was born in Little Rock to John Everett Knoedl and Lillian Josephine (Speir) Knoedl. He graduated from Catholic High in Little Rock. John owned Southern House Leveling and was a remarkable craftsman. He owned and operated a sawmill in Opello, AR. John loved nature, music and working with wood. John was married to Rebecca Williams Knoedl for twenty years. She died on Christmas Day 2012. John was a devoted husband and for two years was Becky's caregiver.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 25th at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church in Little Rock with Abbot Jerome Kodell and Rev. Warren Harvey officiating. Visitation will start at 6:00 p.m. with Rosary following at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 24th at Little Rock Funeral Home.

He is survived by his sisters, Stephanie Smith of Branson, MO and Kathy Bellisle (Frank) of Cabot, AR; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Sharon Jo Scott, brother, David Keith Knoedl, nephew, Brandon Keith Smith.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital, 1 Children's Way, Little Rock, AR 72202.
