John Clifton "PawPaw" Kelly, Jr., 80, of Little Rock, passed away January 5, 2010. Born July 13, 1929 in Crowder, Mississippi to John C. Kelly, Sr. and Maggie White Kelly, he was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran and retired from National Old Line Insurance Co.
Preceded in death by his parents, son, Otis Clyde Kelly, three sisters, a brother and two grandchildren, he is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Kelly; son, John Clifton Kelly III; daughters, Sandra A. Jones (Doug) and Karen French (Roy); nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be Friday, January 8 at 10:30 a.m at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), Little Rock, officiated by Dr. Bob Dunaway. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Alexander. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
