John Jahoda, III, age 42, residing at Jacksonville has passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2010. He was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey. His family moved to Pennsylvania, then Tennessee and finally to Arkansas were he graduated from Northeast High School in 1986. He was a Master auto mechanic. His favorite hobby was riding motorcycles, and his greatest love was for his children.
He is survived by his three children, John Jahoda, IV, Catherine and Nicholas; parents, John Jahoda, Jr. and Gizella Jahoda, of McMinnville, Tennessee; two sisters, Gizella Stricklin and her husband, Dennis, of Little Rock and Sylvia Sanders, of Sherwood; grandmother, Irma Jahoda, of McMinnville, Tennessee; and numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins.
Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will be in Rest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, followed by a rosary service, at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170.
