John Charles Hopper, 76, of Little Rock, passed away December 3, 2019. Born in Little Rock to Charles and Claudia Moore Hopper, he was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and an employee of the United States Postal Service.
Preceded in death by his parents, he is survived by his wife, Carolyn Morris Hopper; daughters, Laura Hopper of Conway and Paula Kolstad (Michael) of Nixa, Missouri; grandchildren, Madison Samson (Nate) of Castle Rock, Colorado and Chase Kolstad of Nixa; cousins, Bobbie Treece of Heber Springs and Marilyn Welch (Harvey) of South Carolina; and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be Sunday, December 8 from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Services will be Monday, December 9 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Marcus Blakley, followed by interment with Military Honors at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
