John Harris
John Robert Harris, 82, of North Little Rock passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2015. He retired from Safeway after 29 years. John loved fishing and was a member of Cornerstone Pentecostal Church.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Jewell DuVall Harris; four sons, Johnny Harris, Garland and Wendy Harris, Robert Harris and Donald and Tonya Harris; ten grandchildren; twenty two great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; brothers, Charlie and Glenda Harris and Billy Don Harris.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Ivy Baker Harris; step-mother, Edna Harris; one brother; and four sisters.
Memorials may be made to Cornerstone Pentecostal Church, 301 Campbell Road, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72117.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Cornerstone Pentecostal Church. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. in St. Joe Cemetery, Atkins, Arkansas. The Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home.
