John Parrish Fullen

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of John Parrish Fullen, a beloved father, son, and friend. Born on July 30, 1971, in Chicago IL, John's journey on this earth came to an end due to a heart attack on August 10, 2024, in Hot Springs, AR. 

Parrish is survived by his father, John Edd Fullen, his son, Cooper Fullen, Cooper's mother Pam Fullen, two brothers, Sonny Harkey and Charlie Fikes, several cousins as well as many wonderful friends. In remembrance of John, our thoughts are also with his grandparents, who have now reunited with him in eternity.

He graduated from Lake Hamilton High School and even earned the title of Eagle Scout. Then went on to a dedicated career as a truck driver transporting various goods. Those who were fortunate enough to have known him can attest to his outgoing and warm personality. Whether he was spending time with family and friends or meeting new people, his friendly nature left a lasting impression on all who crossed his path. In his leisure time, John found joy in simple pleasures. He had a love for boating and enjoyed the thrill of trail riding on a side-by-side vehicle.

A Memorial Gathering to honor and celebrate John's life will be held on August 16, 2024, at Smith Family Funeral Home in Hot Springs, AR. The event will begin at 2:00 PM and conclude at 3:00 PM.
