John Harris

John Franklin Harris, age 59, after nine years of courageously fighting cancer went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus on October 9, 2013. He was born in Little Rock, AR to Sue and Frank Harris on August 6, 1954. John grew up in Batesville, AR.
John worked for Arkansas Precast for over 30 years as an Architectural Draftsman, a job he thoroughly enjoyed. John is known for his love, patience and service to others. There was no task too big for him to handle and his family often called on him for his excellent handy man skills. He came with the right tools and a smile on his face. He had a forgiving spirit and didn't easily take offense. He never met a stranger as he always had a ready conversation. He loved to tell childhood stories with any one that would listen. John had a big heart and he loved the adventure of life.
John is preceded in death by his parents.
