John Andrew Fettes, 62, of Little Rock, passed away July 28, 2009. Born June 2, 1947 in Brooklyn, New York to David and Mary Fettes, he was a criminal investigator for the Internal Revenue Service for twenty-five years. John proudly served as Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 29 and was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Teri Loftin Fettes; sons, Matthew Stewart Fettes of Little Rock and Christopher Andrew Fettes and his fiancée, Meredith Leigh Bagby of Conway; brother, David T. Fettes of New York and sister, Margaret Simone and husband, Samuel of Little Neck, New York. He was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Andrew Fettes.
The Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 31 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 4000 N. Rodney Parham, celebrated by Rev. Bartholomew N. Okere, followed by burial at Calvary Cemetery. There will be visitation at the church on Thursday evening, beginning at 6:00 p.m. with a vigil service at 7:00.
