John D.C.
John P. Martin, D.C., 79, passed away in his home on June 13, 2012 after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.
Dr. Martin practiced Chiropractic in Southaven, MS for over twenty-five years and then retired to the family farm in Arkansas.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Juanita D. Martin. Both of his children have continued his practice in Southaven, Mary K. Martin, D.C. and Paul T. Martin, D.C. He leaves one grandson, David P. Martin of Southaven, MS, as well as two brothers, E. Ray Martin of Little Rock, AR and Ralph E. Martin of Jonesboro, AR, and two sisters, Betty Scroggs of Jonesboro, AR and Virginia Hopkins Dawson of Mesquite, TX and all of their spouses, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Westbrook Funeral Home in Beebe, AR from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday (501-882-5412). Services will be held at Cornerstone Baptist Church in El Paso, AR at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 16, 2012, with burial in Grissard Cemetery.
