John "David" Rawe, Jr.

John “David” Rawe, Jr. of El Paso, Arkansas passed away August 16, 2022, at the age of 51.  He was born July 25, 1971, to John David, Sr. and Gail Rawe.  David was a born-again Christian, and he recently started attending First Baptist Church of Beebe, Arkansas. Within the last decade, he was able to make a mission trip overseas spreading the gospel, and he would share the many experiences of the journey anytime he was afforded the opportunity to. He lead ministry at the Christian Outreach Center in Beebe, Arkansas.  He was a very talented electrician.  He loved raising and showing registered Hereford Cattle throughout the south and was very successful.

While David’s time on this earth was troubled at times and his last days weren’t without affliction, the family finds peace and comfort in knowing David has made his way through the pearly gates and is walking on streets of gold.  We know there were a lot of family who welcomed him home including his Lord and Savior.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his parents; two sons, Jacob Rawe of Australia and Noah Benjamin Rawe of Maumelle, Arkansas; a daughter, Lynlee Gail Rawe, also of Maumelle; a brother, Todd Rawe of El Paso, Arkansas; and many extended family and friends around El Paso and throughout the world.

Visitation begins at 1:00 p.m. followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 20, 2022, in the chapel of Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe, with Bro. Bob Gray officiating. Burial will follow at the Old Austin Cemetery. Arrangements by Smith Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe.
