John A. Hutter, age 83, of Royal, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, October 29, 2021.
He was born on April 19, 1938, in Poughkeepsie, New York, the son of John Hutter and Gertrude Schindel Hutter. On September 14, 1978, he married Linda O’Neal. He is preceded in death by his parents; two grandsons, Kyle Hutter and Brady Davis; one granddaughter, Leah Lowe; and his sister, Marion Burgess.
John was a Christian and a member of First Baptist Church of Royal. He worked for Lake Catherine Footwear as a maintenance supervisor for 47 years until retirement. He was an avid Nascar fan, loved to go junking and enjoyed bailing hay. John was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to all who knew him. He was so highly cherished and will be missed by all of us. We know we will see him again soon!
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Linda Hutter of Royal; three sons and daughters-in-law, Roger and Linda Hutter of Pearcy, David and Janet Hutter of Royal, and Chuck and Heather Kitchens of Bentonville; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Ruthie and Michael Loy of Royal, Joeanna Lowe of Little Rock, and Susie and Lee Davis of Hot Springs Village; fifteen grandchildren, Steven Hutter, Jonathan Hutter, Jared Hutter, Kaylinn Hamby, Blake Loy, Benjamin Loy, Daniel Lowe, Brad Lowe, Sarah Lowe, Jenny Finney, Kayla Tillery, Andrew Davis, Cole Kitchens, Tara Greeley and Brennan Kitchens; seventeen great-grandchildren, William Hutter, Brooklynn Loy, Kinsley Loy, Olivia Loy, Breanna Lowe, Colton Lowe, Cassie Lowe, Paislee Finney, Spencer Finney, Brayden Sears, Hunter Tillery, Huntlee Tillery, Hallee Tillery, Garner Davis, Rylee Davis, Henslee Davis and Addison Greeley; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Lillian Hutter of San Antonio, Texas; several nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
Memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, November 5, 2021, in the First Baptist Church of Royal, with Bro. George Lynch officiating.
Visitation will be held Thursday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs.
