Joe Curtiss Howard III touched the lives of many in his short time on Earth. He was born March 12th, 1997 in Lawton, Oklahoma. During his time with us, he loved music and developed an appreciable concern for nature and animals. Joe became an avid runner, reader, and enjoyed the thrills of rollercoasters. Joe served in United States Army for four years on active duty; he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, the Army Good Conduct Medal and the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal. His last assignment was at Fort Hood, Texas with the 1st Calvary Division.
He is survived by his parents Joe C. Howard Jr., Joan P. Howard and Nathalia C. Howard; siblings Mya K. Howard, Javier C. Andrews, Joaquin L. Howard and Kiehra N. Howard; grandparents Bettie Hayes and Constance Morrow; and other extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe C. Howard Sr. and Larry Morrow.
