Joe Robinson Gribble

Joe Robinson Gribble Jr. died October 27 of complications from Alzheimer’s disease. He was born in NLR on April 30, 1944. He is predeceased by his parents Sadie and Joe Gribble and survived by his wife of 56 years, Judith M. Gribble and a daughter, Tisha Lee. Joe also had an “extra” daughter, Karen Sher, who  lived with the family for a time. He loved his “three girls” and his four legged friends.  Coming from a small family, Joe has one cousin, a niece and a sister-in-law left in his immediate family.

Joe graduated High School from Castle Heights Military Academy in Lebanon, Tennessee, and from the University of Arkansas with a degree in business management. He was a Lambda Chi and had many post college friends from the fraternity.

A short service of remembrance will be held in the courtyard of Trinity United Methodist Church on November 9 at 2:30 pm. Memorials may be made to the Pulaski County Humane Society, 14600 Colonel Glenn Road LR, AR 72210, an animal rescue organization of your choice, or Trinity United Methodist Church 1101 N. Mississippi, LR AR 72207.
