Joe Lewis Cooper Jr., 52, of Little Rock died Thursday, March 3, at Baptist Health Medical Center in North Little Rock. He was born Jan. 14, 1959, in Little Rock, son of Joe Lewis Cooper and Patsy Carter Cooper.
Survivors include his father and stepmother, Betty Cooper, of Little Rock; a sister, Kelley Cooper, and her husband, Jeff Williams, of Sherwood; a daughter, Mary Grace Timmerman of Sherwood; a nephew, Nicholas Sumbles of Sherwood, and a niece, Greer Williams of Sherwood.
Joey, an avid fisherman and hunter, was guided by a creative spirit. He was a devoted father who cherished his relationships with family, friends and Patience, his ever-present black dog.
Joey was a master heating and air conditioning technician who worked with Joe Cooper Heating and Air, Middleton Heat & Air, and Arkansas School for the Deaf during a lengthy career.
Visitation will begin at 1 p.m., followed by a service at 2 p.m. Wednesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street.
