Jodie Amis Hunter age 89 of Dalark died Monday, January 31, 2011. She was born October 4, 1921 the daughter of James Zack and Sarah Ophelia Tucker Amis. She was a member of the Dalark Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Wilson Hunter, one son, Larry Hunter, two brothers, Grady and R. T. Amis, two sisters, Vila Mae Crisco and Addie Mae Evers and one grandson Marty Seale.
Survivors are one daughter, Charlotte Seale and her husband Roger of Manning, AR, one granddaughter, Natasha Seale, and one great grandson, Tyler Seale.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Thursday, February 3rd in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Chapel in Arkadelphia with Rev. Fred Hunter and Rev. Bob Langley officiating. Burial will be in the Atchley Cemetery near Dalark, Visitation will be 6-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
