Joann Petty

Joann Petty, age 84, of Hot Springs, passed away on Friday, June 23, 2023.

She was born April 3, 1939, in Jody, West Virginia, the daughter of William Bernnard Rollins and Pearl Louise Nunley.  She is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Homer Petty.

She is survived by her children, William (Michelle) Petty, Patricia Fallon, Dewayne (Heaven) Petty, Cynathia (Terry) Petty, Sandra Petty and David (Misty) Petty; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM, Wednesday, June 28, 2023, in the Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs.

Interment will be in the Black Springs Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6:00PM-8:00PM, Tuesday evening at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are David Petty, Clint Goslee, Clint Goslee, Jr., Allen Petty, C.J. Petty, and Thomas Fallon.

Honorary pallbearers are Dewayne Terry, Terry Parsons, William Petty and a special thank you to Dierksen Hospice for the care they gave.
