Joan E. Wakefield, 61, of Maumelle passed away Monday, August 6, 2007. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her mother, Dele Wakefield; brother, Bill Wakefield; daughter, Lisa Dwiggins and husband, Brian; three grandchildren, Ashlea, Austin and Lauren; two nieces, DeeAnn Shepard (Matthew) and Jennifer Ryken (James); grandniece, Jessica Shepard; grandnephew, Jacob Shepard and a very special friend, Jim Sandusky. She was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Martindale.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday at New Haven Baptist Church. Arrangements by North Little Rock Funeral Home, 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
