Jo (Lewis) Renshaw, 71, of Little Rock passed away Thursday, August 8, 2013. She started with the Chief Clerk's Office in the House of Representatives in 1977, became chief clerk in 1987 and retired in 2009. She was a graduate of University of Arkansas Little Rock with a degree in Anthropology and served on the Alumni Board. She was an avid sailor, a member of Grande Maumelle Sailing club and a member of Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her former husband, Don Renshaw, of Little Rock; close friends, Carole Ann Provin and Phyllis Haynes, both of Little Rock; cousins, Suzanne and Ed Blandon, of Denver, Colorado, Rene' and Harriet Jordan, of Nashville, Tennessee, Diane Dietrichsen, of Connecticut and Karen and Jerry Delezen of Dallas, Texas; and her two beloved dogs, Holly and Hope. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Leslie Ann Renshaw; her parents, Ruth and Joseph V. Lewis and her grandmother, Eula McIlvoy.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Humane Society of Pulaski County, 14600 Colonel Glenn Road, Little Rock, Arkansas 72210.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday at Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church. Arrangements by North Little Rock Funeral Home, a Smith Family Funeral Home. Online obituary at www.SmithFamilyCares.com .
