Jo Ann Buell, 80 years old, passed peacefully, at 6:30 am Friday, March 27, 2015, at Sherwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Sherwood, AR.
Jo Ann was born January 9, 1935, in West Columbia, TX. She was the first child of Luby Marshall and Gladys Love Sorrells. She became a resident of North Little Rock, AR in 1998 and was a faithful member of First Pentecostal Church of North Little Rock, AR. She was known as an encourager to those who were down, and a match-maker to the lonely!
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, a brother, and her son, Henry H. (Buddy) Kazmir.
Jo Ann is survived by two sisters, Sandra Warneke and Florence Chandler, a brother, Wayne Sorrells, two daughters, Sheila Jo Haymon (Ronald) and Linda M. Pomeroy (Seth), son Clyde Joseph Kazmir (Linda), 13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at First Pentecostal Church of North Little Rock. Burial will be in Serenity Garden, Jacksonville, AR.
