Jimmy Wayne White, 81, of Little Rock passed from this life on January 4, 2021. He was born April 8, 1939 in Minden, Louisiana to the late Leonard and Doris Woodard White. “Pops” or “Chief” as his friend’s and family affectionately called him was one of a kind.  Jim was a very generous, caring, give you the shirt off his back kinda of man.  In 1969 he co-founded Coulson Oil Company, and continued working until his passing. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist church in Little Rock. He was an avid LSU and Razorback fan. His hobbies included fishing and golf, but he found his greatest joy in his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who will be missed by all who knew him. In addition to his parents, his son, C. Tobin (Toby) White, preceded him in death.

Survivors include wife, Peggy Woods White; children, M. Todd White (Chris) of Maumelle, Terrill W. White (Angela) of Maumelle, Tara K. White of North Little Rock, Daughter-in-law, Kim White, Step-son Christopher Volpert (Heather) of Cabot, AR; grandchildren, Amber Murphy (Lance) Geoffery White, Morgan Burnett (Cody), Ashley Dillon (Ryan), Hunter Mills, Courtney Lalonde (Alex) and Colby White, Brock White and Aubrie White. Other survivors include great grandchildren Fisher Burnett, Lane Burnett, Kayden White, Andi Dillon, Sawyer Lalonde, Connor Murphy, Lincoln White, Myles White, Karina Mills. His step-children Jimmy Ponder, Jr (Lori), Ginny Claire Ponder, Drew Ponder, Margaret Matlack (Mike). Step-grandchildren, Betsy and Sam Matlack, Caroline and Ben Ponder, and Andrew and Abby Ponder, along with a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services will be 2p.m. Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home. Interment will be 12p.m., Monday, January 11, 2021 at Fellowship Cemetery in Louisiana. Visitation will be 4p.m to 6p.m., Friday, January 8, 2021 at the funeral home.
