Jimmy Purifoy
Jimmy Ray Purifoy, 64, of Little Rock, Arkansas, went to be with our Lord on the afternoon of January 2, 2017. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Gayle; his father, J.R. (Reber) Purifoy of Little Rock; his mother, Betty (Allen) Holten of Heber Springs; his children, Michael (Vanessa) Purifoy of Inez, Texas, Steven (Michelle) Purifoy of East End, and Jennifer Purifoy of Alexander; his brothers, sisters and extended family as well as his many grandchildren and one-great-grandchild.
Jim enjoyed his golf (even though he wasn't very good at it), his reading, his Gaither music and his lifelong devotion as a Raider fan. He is and will be remembered for his kindheartedness and spiritual guidance.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 4 from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Services will be Thursday, January 5 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. Michael Deerman. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Arkansas, 201 Markham Center Dr., Little Rock, AR 72205.
