Jimmy Pickard

Jimmy Dale Pickard, age 57 years and 10 months and a U.S. Navy veteran, on the morning of October 31, 2016, with his mother by his side, passed peacefully from this world into the arms of God. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Willis Clayton Pickard and Nettie Cooper Pickard, father, Jim Buck Pickard, son, Brandon Pickard, brother, Tracy Pickard, aunt, Altha Dean Pickard Hankins, cousin, Ronnie Hankins, maternal grandparents, Sam Coleman Byrd and Esther Powell Byrd, favorite uncle, Clement Byrd, and beloved stepfather, Raymond Henderson.

He is survived by his mother, Lura Ellen Byrd O'Donnell; first wife, Brandon's mother, Wanda McDonald; sons, Casey, Jimmy Lee and James Mathew Pickard; daughters, Emily House (Dave), Sarah Warrick and Hannah Pickard; granddaughters, Sydney Pickard, Taylor Pickard, Rayne Warrick and Emerson French; grandsons, Rory Warrick, Miles French and Benjamin House; and numerous friends and relatives.

A special thanks to the staff at VA Palliative/Hospice Care. From doctors and nurses to housekeeping and dietary, everyone was wonderful.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 19 at 3:00 p.m. at Pinnacle Assembly of God Church, 7803 N. Guenther Rd., Roland, AR 72135, (501)868-8209. Visitation will precede the service, beginning at 2:00 p.m.
