Jimmy Don "Big Jim" Norman, 70, of North Little Rock, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2010. Jimmy was born March 11, 1939 in Pangburn, Arkansas to the late Clarence O. and Maudie G. Dunn Norman. He was a retired dental technician and a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He was and is a White County boy and he is fishing and hunting forever.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years June Loretta "Rhet" Norman; two sons and daughters-in-law, Skip and Belinda Norman of North Little Rock, Robie and Heidrun Norman of Sherwood; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one on the way; his adopted families, Cris, Carol and their families; and many close friends.
Memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Committal service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday in Henderson Cemetery, Pangburn, Arkansas.
